Dewitt Collection
The precision model of the "DeWitt Clinton" locomotive, tender, and three stagecoach style passenger cars was completed over a period of 43 years by Mr. Douglas W. Cox, of Scott County, Kentucky.
Georgetown Post Office
It was a big day in Georgetown on May 1, 1915, when the post office cornerstone was laid in elaborate ceremonies and observed by some 2,500 citizens.
Garth Memories
Garth School has been a vital part of Georgetown's history since its founding. Established on historic grounds, it has educated a large segment of the community. The Georgetown & Scott County Museum proudly presents “Garth Memories", an exhibit created to honor the rich and varied history of Garth Schools.
