The following articles are written as the narrative to enhance the "Moments in History" Exhibit and Timeline. As the Museum looked at many ways to do our part in the Georgetown 250 celebration, an exhibit was prepared to highlight artifacts and artwork beginning with prehistoric times in what would become Scott County, Kentucky. The Museum developed a timeline comparing what was happening in Georgetown and Scott County to the same time periods in Kentucky and United States history. As always, it is the mission of the Museum to educate the public with the facts as we know them.
